Salad'Bar Project

The site of the project is located "Rue du couvent" in Ixelles, as part of a collaborative development of a multitude of production and craft spaces around the embankment on the site. The desire behind the creation of this home for tradesmen was to find the ideal fusion between the shop owner's living space and his work space (here food retail).

 

The project therefore includes a housing module for the owner of the salad'bar (1st Floor), a space for growing the product sold (rooftop), as well as the sales and catering space for his business on the ground floor. The idea was therefore to bring together the place of work and housing of the inhabitant within the same volume in order to optimize the autonomy of the trade and the collaboration between neighboring producers / traders / artisans.
